 Chocolate Cake with Milo Frosting



Ingredients for the cake

- 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 squares (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract,
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp instant espresso

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 180C. In a round baking pan spray vegetables oil.

2. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

3. In large microwavable bowl, combine chocolate and butter. Microwave at half (50%) power 1 minute stir. Microwave on 50% power in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until mixture is melted. (Mixture can also be melted on top of stove in heavy saucepan over low heat.) Stir until smooth.

4. Transfer butter mixture to large mixing bowl, add sugar and beat with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, and the add vanilla extract and mix it well. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beat until well blended and smooth. Pour into prepared pans.

5. Bake 33-37 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove to cooling grid. cool completely before decorating.

For frosting
- 1 1/2 cup of condensed milk
- 1 cup of milo powder
- 3 tbsp hot water
- 150 gram maltesers chocolate

Instructions
- whisk condensed milk and milo in a bowl for 5 mins or until there are no lumpsAnd then add water and mix it for 2 mins.

- Freeze the chocolate for 20 mins And grate the chocolate using a cheese grater and sprinkle on top of the cake.
