Dark chocolate banana bread




Ingredients
  • 1 cup of mashed bananas 
  • 2/3 cup of dark cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 130g honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour 
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup greek yoghurt 
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions 
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a bread loaf pan 
  • In a mixing bowl, add the mashed bananas, the greek yogurt, honey, eggs a and vanilla extract. Whisk until fully combined.
  • In another bowl, add the all purpose flour flour, baking soda, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder and the cocoa powder and whisk to combine. 
  • Sift the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir well with a wooden spatula.
  • Pour the batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake at 350˚F for 55-60 min or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 
  • Let banana bread rest for 10 min before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
