How to make Dark chocolate banana bread
Dark chocolate banana bread
Ingredients
- 1 cup of mashed bananas
- 2/3 cup of dark cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 130g honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup of all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup greek yoghurt
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a bread loaf pan
- In a mixing bowl, add the mashed bananas, the greek yogurt, honey, eggs a and vanilla extract. Whisk until fully combined.
- In another bowl, add the all purpose flour flour, baking soda, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder and the cocoa powder and whisk to combine.
- Sift the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir well with a wooden spatula.
- Pour the batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake at 350˚F for 55-60 min or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let banana bread rest for 10 min before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
